Blockquote / Pull Quote

Let one sentence stop the scroll

A customer's line, a magazine's verdict or your own promise, set apart from the text with the name and the source under it: beside an accent bar, as a pull quote in large type, or on a card with a portrait or a logo.

Proof where the shopper is reading

One review next to the product range it praises works harder than a page of reviews nobody opens. Link the source to the product or the article, and the proof is one click from the evidence.

A long page that is easy to scan

A pull quote in large type breaks up an article or a lookbook and gives the eye somewhere to land, without a picture to shoot or crop.

A quotation, not a large paragraph

The words are stored as a real quotation with its author and source, so browsers, screen readers and search engines read it as one. The quotation mark is drawn, never copied with the words.

Use cases

Where shops put it

A customer's words beside the range

"Survived two winters of daily commuting" with the buyer's name and a link to the bag they reviewed, beside an accent bar in your brand colour.

As seen in the press

A card with the magazine's logo, the line they wrote about you and a link to the article.

A pull quote in a lookbook or a story page

One sentence of the founder's story in large type, centred between two lines, to break up the text.

What you control

Every field in the form, in plain words

Three appearances
An accent bar beside the words, a pull quote in large type between two hairlines, or a card.
The quotation
The words with paragraphs, bold and links; the author; a role or source; and an optional link to a page, a category, a product or any address.
A picture
A round portrait of the author, or a publication's logo kept whole.
Alignment
Set by the appearance, or left, centred or right — the accent bar follows the words, moving to the right or above a centred quote.
Size and width
Three text sizes per appearance that step down on a phone, and a maximum width in pixels.
The quotation mark
On or off, and one accent colour for the mark and the bar.

Native and honest

Your content is written in Magento's own format

The page stores a plain HTML quotation: the words in a blockquote, the author and the source in its caption, inside a figure. The quotation mark and the dash before the name are drawn by the stylesheet, so they are never copied along with the words and never read out. With the module switched off, your theme shows its own quotation style with the author and the source under it, and nothing is lost from the words. The element adds no structured data, so it does not promise a review snippet in search results.

Every element saves itself the way native Page Builder saves its own: a plain <div data-content-type="wrizu_…"> with its settings in data-* attributes, stored with the page. There is no proprietary database table, no shortcode, no second editor and nothing that has to be converted later.

That has a practical consequence. Disable the module and the storefront keeps serving those pages: headings, copy, images, links and buttons stay visible and clickable, and the styling you set per element — alignment, colours, spacing — stays with them, because it lives in a <style> block stored with the page rather than in our stylesheets. What you lose is what our CSS draws: the layouts, the borders and shadows, the button variants and the bundled icons.

One honest warning

With the module switched off, do not open and save a page that contains Wrizu elements — Page Builder flattens any page holding a content type it does not know into a single HTML Code block, and that save cannot be undone. It behaves that way with every unknown content type, not only with ours, and the storefront is unaffected either way; the rule is simply to leave those pages alone until the module is back on.

Works with any Luma-based theme

The elements are built on the same front-end stack the native Page Builder uses: jQuery and the libraries Page Builder already loads. They target Luma-based themes — Magento Blank, Luma, and the custom themes shops build on either of them.

Buttons use Luma's own button mixins, so a Wrizu button looks like a button from your theme rather than like a button from a plug-in. All of the module's CSS is scoped to [data-content-type^="wrizu_"], so it styles our elements and nothing else in your theme.
